2007-12-10 Open Directory RDF not strictly valid
Processing the RDF dumps provided on this page with Redland or another RDF prarser may produce errors. There is a good explanation and some scripts to clean it up at http://esw.w3.org/topic/DmozRdf
In particular Steve Rainwater's scripts worked best for me

2007-12-08 problems with Redland and the dmoz data
I'm having a problem parsing structure.rdf.u8.gz with Redland, error is
Redland error: property element 'Topic' has multiple object node elements, skipping.
Someone on the redland dev list said thy had a problem last year as well. Will post more details here if a solution is found. --guest
