The med tech who was applying the cast recommended strongly against it - he had just had one himself over the summer in Tucson and found it to be extremely uncomfortable as the sweat would not be absorbed but would drip out of the cast. It was constantly humid and wet inside and he said he would never choose this cast again. I'm sure the Gore Procel castliner is great for swimmers and is a good choice for some, but the complete lack of negative comments online contrasted with what we heard in person! |
