Reminds me of the idea a long time ago about having conversation with public figures, where we the hoi polloi would read what others had asked and build on it, recording their answers, to get a deeper discussion than the standard sound bite. (came from trying to pin Sen Kyl down on campaign finance reform). Kind of makes regular people more able to access the decision makers if we make sense to them...see Grieder's We the people But of course this is just a specialized case of a distributed conversation...and probably not the most useful |
